POSTER: Humanism = Masculism by QueenieSeas POSTER: Humanism = Masculism by QueenieSeas
Seriously, why bother calling yourself a humanist/equalist if you ONLY support half of this world?

Masculism is a part of Humanism/Equalism. One cannot coexist without the other.

To say that you don't support masculism is to say you don't support equal rights, hence, equalism.

Would you say a Voice for Men is masculistic?

No, I wouldn't. Since they demonize feminism, I can't take what they say seriously.

I'm all for men's rights, but I'm not for avoiceformen.com.

Ah, but they do stand for humanitarian values as well as egalitarian. Wouldn't that not only make them masculists by your definition, but also feminists since feminist supposedly is only about equality between men and women according to you?

All those points that they had were rebutted the moment they tried to demonize the movement that gave me a voice.

They aren't really questioning women's right to speak. Surely you can recognise that a movement can be criticized for its bad ideas while its opponents also can happen to agree with some small parts of the movements ideology. I for example don't agree with Hitler and his Nazis that Jews should be exterminated, but I can still appreciate their proposed health care reform.

While I do agree that men who've been abused should be recognize, I don't support how they're doing it. The moment you call Feminism "Patriarchy in Lipstick" is the moment they put all their good points go into the garbage.

If you're not willing to consider what else they have to say because of a slogan on a t-shirt then that's only your loss.

It's not just the t-shirt slogan, I've seen more of them demonizing feminism in a lot of their articles. I'm sorry, but I can't take people like that seriously. If they want to make male rape victims more well known, then they should do it without the demonization of feminism, otherwise they're just being immature men-children.
